Prickly Pear East is one of Anguilla’s Important Bird Areas with regionally and globally important populations of Laughing gull, Least tern, and Brown booby. A population of Critically Endangered Lesser Antillean iguana have recently been reintroduced to the island. The cay’s beach also provides critical nesting habitat for Green and Hawksbill turtles.

A photographer’s dream, a guided walk around the island provides ideal opportunities for nature photography. Have lunch and drink by the beach by the beach and enjoy a swim or snorkel in the clear blue Marine Park waters.
